Thursday 10th August – walk **** Felixstowe Ferry and Levington creek –
sunny and hot.
The good weather continues, I had a pic in the local paper yesterday but
forgot to buy one so headed to the Spar shop early to see if I could get
one but was unlucky:( As I was out, I continued down to Felixstowe Ferry to
get a few pics to send to the TV weather, got some nice pics but sadly they
were not used but still had a lovely walk along the River Deben and around
the boatyard before heading home for breakfast. Usual morning exercises and
gardening before once again I packed a picnic, as we needed to go to Lidl
we decided to drive over to Levington church for lunch with lovely views
over the Orwell with loads of yachts out on the water! We spotted a
solitary deer in the pasture below and it was pleasant sitting at the top
of the hill with a cooling breeze blowing off the water! We then did a
short walk down to the wooden walkway spotting a deer with a fawn and loads
of butterflies with a buzzard overhead. Then along the Orwell and back
along Levington creek to the van and home via Lidl:)
Its looking like three days of breeze so hope to get out windsurfing, looks
like it has to be The Manor end and the beach at The Dip has
disappeared:(
